About Me
As a child with a chronic disease my passion for medicine started very young and growing up in the medical system my interests and curiosity only grew. I am currently a Junior at Old Dominion University (ODU) studying Biomedical Sciences. I am a student of the Monarchs Maximizing Access to Research Careers program (M-MARC) which is a National Institute of Health (NIH) funded program that creates opportunity and access to mentoring and research opportunities for underrepresented undergraduate students. Following the completion of my Bachelor of Science at ODU, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. and become a medical researcher and professor.
