This is such a classic meme so seeing it adapted to cell biology was incredibly funny to me. The digestive enzymes contained within lysosomes can be used in many functions; including breaking down extra or worn-out cell parts, destroying viruses or bacteria, and apoptosis of a cell when it’s damaged beyond repair. I really enjoy the clever way they bring in apoptosis to this meme.
